The Jumpin' Quails first started fluttering in a 60s landscape, proposing a surf sound, but finally landed onto safe indie rock shores. They come from the deep-rooted Turin underground scene and became stronger after some good European tours. Their first LP, "What's Your Jump Like?" (label: Green Cookie Records, 2009), is composed of a series of rough and colorful unpublished works, ranging from 60s beat to plastic 80s sound.Over the last two years, our anti-heros have been involved in three European tours. The new tracks benefit from a more careful production: the Jumpin' Quails have been playing many of these songs on stage over the whole 2010 European tour and they finally managed to compose 'Bishops In Tea Shops' as a consistent and cohesive album (label: Sounday, 2010).
